Description
Sancerrois, Loire, France…..
The elders used to say that one must be “damned” (damnee in French) to plant vines on these slopes. Nowadays, it is always a pleasure to work there with such a splendid view on the Sancerrois.
This cuvee is grown on Chalky-clay (“Terres Blanches”). This terroir is particular and gives rich and well-build wines that improve with age.
Pale gold color, fine nose, with citrus and exotic fruit, lots of freshness on the palate with some very appealing notes of peach and pear, already very promising, with good mineral on the long finish; representative of this terroir.
