This special cuvèe of old vine Chenin blanc comes from a parcel of several-meter deep clay-limestone soil resting on tuffeau, the chalky rock that gives the best Vouvrays their peculiar characteristics.

The nose develops some ripe quince and pear notes as well as honey and flowers; gentle and refined on the palate where some light minerals make you forget of its “demi-sec” title, just a soft fruitiness on the finish. Perfect on its own or with ripe cheeses and mildly spicy Asian food…
