An attractive, nicely made wine, the 2019 Taillefer reveals aromas of sweet berries, rose petals and loamy soil, followed by a medium to full-bodied, lively palate framed by powdery tannins that gently assert themselves on the finish.

The 2019 Taillefer is a heady, rich Pomerol. Super-ripe dark red fruit, sweet oak and spice add to the wine’s flamboyant feel. There is plenty of depth and resonance, while the flavor profile is decidedly on the pushed side of ripe.
